Are the Home Advocates at Trusted At Home Contractors?
Team Ed is fortunate enough to employee people with residential construction, home maintenance and handyman experience. We use our licensed and bonded contractors, electricians, plumbers in combination addressing your needs as required for each situation and offering the best quality work.
In the case of project management work, our strategic partners and vendors all are vetted for the correct certifications and licenses while ensuring the corresponding insurances are in place.
Home maintenance vs. Home remodeling?
Our Home Advocates are there to maintain your house and the structural elements that make it a home. Repairing or additions to your structure start as being defined as anything that takes longer than 30 minutes to 2 hours to complete. Even then, 2 hours is a special project and requires additionally scheduling and fees.
Our Home Advocates will be able to review the project and consult with you on whether your situation requires additional scheduled time or outside vendors to complete your work. All of this can be coordinated through us! One call and that is all.
TrustEd At Home manages the repairs if it is something major or big?
Absolutely! Should you decide to use us as project manager, we charge a 10% fee straight off the agreed upon proposal. As a trusted resource, we can arrange for proposals through our contacts and strategic partners. We will help to review your choices by consulting and answering your questions.
Team Ed then schedules, coordinates and follows up with the different providers so that you need never feel taken advantage of or unsure of the validity of services or pricing. We have to come back every month so you can be assured we have a vested interest in making sure you receive the best possible solution!
How do I start?
Once you sign up, Team Ed sets up your OnBoarding Assessment and Details Appointment. This approximate 1 - 1&1/2 hour appointment allows us to collect information on ages of the house and systems, the physical familiarity and photo documentation and preference notation to successfully service your home throughout the year. At the end you receive a full list of your home's systems and needs for your own records.
If you prefer to have this meeting before you sign on, there is a $295 non-refundable fee due at booking. This report is a valuable resource in helping you to understand and document what maintaining YOUR house will require on a regular basis. If you sign on before we leave, the fee is applied to your package price.
Do I have to be home for each service?
Nope! The first appointment (Onboarding) it is helpful if we can have 30 - 45 minutes of your time but the rest can be arranged through our Home Advocates and access permissions we will set up. This freedom allows our clients to enjoy the time they are saving by not doing the work themselves. Go play! We got this.
Do you have customer service?
Of course! Our friendly and knowledgeable customer services reps are available to answer your questions. For our Clients, we even have an online systems for you to log in your questions or requests.
The TrustEd At Home Online System will have all photos, service details and project receipts available to you any time you log in. Easily monitored and scheduled, our online system is about convenience for our internet world!

You have a service that checks out a home BEFORE it goes to sale??
In fact we do! Our Pre-Listing Assessment is a review of the home with an eye toward what could trigger the home inspector to find SURPRISES right when you are trying to close! This service and report is separate from our Maintenance Care Packages and available to the public.
